Solution 1:

Add clearInterval() to the mousedown event:

clicker.mousedown(function() {
  clearInterval(timeout);
  timeout = setInterval(function() {
    clicker.text(count++);
  }, 500);

  returnfalse;
});

That will be triggered on the context menu, and it will prevent multiple timers from running at once.
